The Glastonbury Elks Lodge #2202 sits on 98 Woodland St in South Glastonbury, and the moment you walk in, you understand why it earns a 4.8-star rating across nearly 80 reviews. The grounds are spacious, the lounge has a fireplace that pulls people in on Friday nights, and the outdoor pavilion with its gazebo is the kind of place that makes summer parties actually feel like summer parties.

This Lodge has hosted everything from military and antique gun shows to backyard-style cookouts where $10 gets you all the burgers, hot dogs, and sausages you can eat. That range tells you something real about the membership here: they're serious about their charitable mission and equally serious about having a good time doing it. Free pool, shuffleboard, and darts are on offer every time you walk through the door.

The BPOE tradition runs deep in everything Lodge #2202 does, from scholarships and youth programs to veteran support and community fundraisers. But the day-to-day feeling is simply one of belonging. Staff are routinely called out by name in reviews for going above and beyond, and first-time visitors consistently say they felt like regulars.

What We Offer

The lounge is the social heartbeat of the place, open on Friday nights with the fireplace going and free billiards, shuffleboard, and darts always available. Regular cookouts, holiday events, and member dinners keep the calendar full year-round. The Lodge also supports Elks national programs including Hoop Shoot, Drug Awareness, and scholarship awards for local students.

Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
